We have a long history of welcoming Chevening scholars here at the University of York. For 2015/16, we will be welcoming over 25 Chevening scholars from around the world. 

Chevening is now open for 2016/17 scholarships for one year Masters programmes. Applicants can choose any course of study. For this cycle, a total of 1500 scholarships are expected to be disbursed with a significant increase for many countries.Please note the deadline for applications is 12noon GMT, 3rd November 2015 (this is early compared to previous year's mid-November). 

While applicants are not required to hold an university offer to apply for a Chevening Scholarship, having one is an asset in their scholarship application.
