What to do now
Visit our New Students web pages which are full of really useful information about life here at Bristol. Your registration guide will help you prepare and we’ve created a checklist of what you need to do before you arrive.
 
Welcome Week
Welcome Week starts on 18 September and provides a huge range of events for all new students, find out what’s on. Events include the Students’ Union’s exciting line-up, which you can buy your tickets for now, and our Welcome Ceremony. Held in the Wills Memorial Building Great Hall, this ceremony is where you will be officially welcomed to our University, check your timetable for details. Each programme has a dedicated Welcome Week timetable, don’t forget to check yours before you arrive. 
 
There’s always someone to talk to 
Looking after yourself and managing your studies is essential for a happy and productive student life but sometimes you might need extra support. You can access support on everything from medical advice, studying, relationships and student life. Find out about our community and how we support you during your time here. 

Disability Support
Disability Services provide confidential advice and study support to a wide range of students, including those with dyslexia, dyspraxia, attention deficit conditions, mental health difficulties, Asperger syndrome, sensory impairments, mobility difficulties and ongoing health conditions. If you need support but have not yet been in touch or would like a informal chat about what we offer, please contact our friendly team as soon as possible. Find advice, information and contact details. 

Finances
We also provide online financial advice and help if you’re looking to find a part-time job during your studies.

Sport 
Fresh Sport is a chance to find a sports club that’s right for you, whether you want to train and compete or keep active to feel good and have fun. On Saturday 23 and Sunday 24  September Fresh Sport offers a weekend of sport and socialising – come along to make friends and try something new.
